Abroad Again!

Hello everyone! Finally got into my blog account...actually not at all sure how but all of the sudden I am in. Speaking of "in", I am currently in Florence, Italy. This is my fourth time here but my first staying in the city. I usually stay in the countryside. This time, I wanted to see what the city is like at night. All I can say so far is that people really, really like the eveings here...as well as their chianti! I found one I liked on my first day here! Unfortunately, when I asked for a crazy staw, I got the cock-your-head-to-the-side look. Oh well, so much for starting a trend. Yesterday, I arrived in Stuttgart and was greeted by my old boss, Martina. She was kind enough to pick me up and allow me to spend the night at her lovely home as well as hold the rest of my bags until after my vacation. We got all caught up and laughed a lot! Her son is so grown up now and her husband is the new dog's favorite person. She says hello to everyone and understands our company's need for more chocolate! Plans for this week are: visiting Verona or Cortona tomorrow, then friend Shelly shows up Friday night for trips to Montecino, Multipulciano, Siena and San Gimignano. Back to Germany in week. Other than being very, very warm and my accomodations very nice and cool (love AC!)that's about it. Will write again when I bump into that guy George from Lake Como. Oh, photos coming soon! Trying to get my phone to talk to my Ipad without a PC. Stop laughing, you techies! I will make it happen!
