Hi everyone,
Just a quick note before we go and get our car this morning. We visited San Gimignano on Saturday via the lovely bus and had a good time. Shopped way to much so we took yesterday off and hung around. We witnessed a fantastic electrical storm just north of us. It lasted well over an hour. Yesterday, thunder and more lightening but no rain. It cooled off but just for a moment.
Personally, I am VERY nervous about getting a car today. The rental office is in Florence and driving there can be hazardous to one's health. Once out of town, we are heading for the coast, about 60 km, we believe.
